At our college in Fort Worth we understand that traditional four-year colleges aren’t for everyone. Many adults are juggling the demands of work and family but still want to earn a college diploma or degree in a way that’s convenient and practical for them and their busy schedule.

Remington College in Fort Worth offers associate’s degree programs in Computer and Network Administration, Digital Graphic Art and Criminal Justice and College Diploma Programs in Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG, Medical Billing and Coding and Pharmacy Technician.

Fort Worth College Degrees and Diploma Programs

Our Fort Worth college offers degree and diploma programs, some of which can be completed in as few as eight months, with some classes available in day and evening sessions. We provide opportunities for college students who want to get the higher education and career training they need for the job they want. (1)

Associate’s Degree Programs:

  • Computer and Network Administrator Training Program Our Fort Worth, Texas campus's associate's degree program in Computer and Network Administration helps prepare graduates for entry-level positions assisting senior administrators with routine system maintenance and monitoring, analyzing problems, providing hardware and software support, and ensuring that all parts of a company's system are running properly.(1) The curriculum focuses on designing, installing, and managing an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), internet system, and intranet system using Microsoft Windows-based network architectures.

  • Digital Graphic Design Training Program Students in the Digital Graphic Art associate's degree program at our Fort Worth, Texas campus learn the basic principles and theories of graphic design and how to implement them in desktop publishing, digital imaging, and Web design. Our graduates benefit from personalized, hands-on instruction and may go on to pursue possible careers as graphic designers, production artists, Website designers, or desktop publishers.(1)

  • Criminal Justice Degree The associate's degree program in Criminal Justice provides students at our Fort Worth, Texas campus with a sound knowledge base in U.S. law enforcement, criminology, investigations, and community relations. Program graduates should be prepared for entry-level positions in loss prevention, security, and investigation.(1)(2)

College Diploma Programs:

  • Fort Worth Dental Assistant Training Program The Dental Assisting diploma program at our Fort Worth, Texas campus combines coursework and an externship to train students in both clinical and administrative capabilities, including sterilizing and preparing instrument trays, exposing and processing X-rays, conducting dental inspections and procedures, setting appointments, completing insurance forms, and processing patient bills. The curriculum is designed to provide the knowledge and practical experience needed to succeed in entry-level job opportunities such as chairside assistant and dental receptionist.(1)

  • Medical Assistant Training Program The Medical Assisting College Diploma Program at the Fort Worth, Texas campus addresses both medical-related subjects and office administrative topics through classroom instruction and lab demonstrations and practice, culminating in externship in a physicians' office. Graduates acquire the skills to work as a medical assistant in health clinics, outpatient facilities, hospitals, physicians' offices, health insurance companies, medical supplies and equipment businesses, medical laboratories and pharmaceutical companies.(1)

  • X-Ray Technician (Limited Scope) Training Program The curriculum for our college diploma program in Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) and EKG provides instruction in administrative and clinical medical assisting as well as limited X-ray and EKG procedures. In addition to developing skills that are used in clinical settings, students at our Fort Worth, Texas campus learn X-ray and EKG techniques, have the opportunity to participate in externship training in a real medical office,(3) and can earn their diploma in as few as 12 months.

  • Medical Billing Training Program The Medical Billing and Coding diploma program at our Fort Worth, Texas campus offers courses and training in subjects ranging from medical terminology, anatomy, and billing cycles to standardized medical coding databases. After completing our coursework in as few as nine months, graduates should be prepared for potential employment as an entry-level medical billing specialist, coding specialist, or general medical office clerk(1)

  • Pharmacy Technician Training Program Students of our Fort Worth, Texas campus's Pharmacy Technician college diploma program learn about the side effects, dosage calculation, and administration of drugs through coursework, while getting hands-on training in techniques such as weighing, measuring, compounding, and blending pharmaceutical ingredients accurately. Graduates should be prepared to work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and assume many of the vital technical and administrative responsibilities related to drug dispensing.(1)(2)

Our Commitment to Our Students in Higher Education

While no reputable college can guarantee employment, our Campus Career Services Department is available to help our college graduates locate and apply for jobs, craft their resumes, prepare for interviews, and connect with local employers.

Active Involvement in Our Student's Community

Our Fort Worth college is also actively involved in the local community. Staff, students, and faculty members have participated in the Fort Worth Adopt-a-School Program partnering with Bill Elliott Elementary School, and the Campus has sponsored functions in the Fort Worth Independent School District.

Also, the Carter Blood Center and the American Red Cross conduct frequent blood drives on Campus, and the Campus holds frequent cosmetology promotions and participates in "Locks of Love" hair donation efforts for children and young adults with long-term medical-related hair loss.
